010-.046s has a slightly lower effort/smoother feel than the Studio w/. The Burny has a slightly more tapered down neck profile to it and the action as setup w/. I think what hooked me was the similarity in feel and sound to my '92 LP Studio. I'm not a fan of the gold hardware and will probably wind up converting it over to some kind of brushed/aged nickel setup on purely aesthetic grounds, but by initial impression I couldn't be happier w/ this guitar in every other regard.
#How is the action on a burny guitar pro
It also had a CTS/Vitamin Q/Switchcraft rewire along w/ an SD Slash Alnico II Pro put in the bridge and a JB in the neck and the whole setup sounds really great and hot vintage + to me, w/ plenty of glorious body and bite in very pleasing proportions: It's got a few minor dings on the back, some minor pick wear on the top, and had a small repair to the binding and edge of the low side of the headstock but it's in great shape otherwise and plays like a dream. Once the previous owner offered it up to me unprompted for $100 under his reserve it was pretty much a sealed deal. and Rosewoood fretboard is in good condition, Low action: High E: 1.2mm. Burny RLC Les Paul Custom type Electric Guitar Made in Japan VH-1 Pickup Used. Very tight grained dyed rosewood (gasp!) board. Low action with no discernable buzz, at least none that bothers me. Extremely loud unplugged and rings very well. There's no interruption of the grain in the form of a visible seam on either. Appears to be a single piece mahogany top and single piece mahogany back, unless they just matched it really well. Honestly looks more like nitro to me, but I'm sure it's not. Thinnest poly I've ever seen as there's uniform grain sink all over this thing. I sent the guy $1K, and he sent me this in the original case (which is shedding like crazy). I recently got a serious itch for a Custom and didn't want to spend the scratch for a Gibson, so the MIJs hit my radar. Pots date it to 1988 if I'm doing it right. Couple of indentations and some superficial scratching, but very well kept for a 30+ year old.

Nice patina on the finish and hardware, but no dings or scratches through the finish. It's in spectacular condition for its age.

I picked it up off ebay and took delivery a couple of days ago. This is a killer Custom, or a Custom killer depending.
